“TIMBER!” At least that’s the thought going through my head when it’s time for the wedding formals and everyone has to walk on grass. The guys have it easy but the ladies are often wearing high heels and this can be a problem! When it comes to the heel part of high heels, you may as well be walking on quicksand. They go straight through the ground. In the interest of preventing twisted ankles I usually advise anyone wearing heels to take them off while we’re walking to the location where we’re going to do the formals. Unfortunately that’s not an ideal option either. What’s the solution?
Consider buying some inexpensive flip flops for the women to wear. Another option is SoleMates. They’re little plastic discs that fit on the bottom of the heels which prevents them from puncturing the ground.
